383 Chevy stroker motor for sale

I have a 383 stroker motor up for sale . Comes with aluminum high rise intake, all sheet metal (chrome), high energy electronic distributor, and Demon carb. Engine has approx. 2000 miles on it but cam and lifters are brand new. It has roller rockers, Eagle crank, Hipo rods with forged pistons, hi volume oil pump and double roller timing chain. 4 bolt main 010 truck block with 462 double hump heads 2.02 intake, 1.60 exhaust valves. I did not build this motor, I bought it from a mechanic to install in a 66 Chevelle. I have found a correct 327 to put in the car, so the stroker needs to go. asking 2600.00 for this beast, cost close to 5 grand to build.It is on an engine stand so it can be inspected.

Hey,

I could use that engine for my K5 project. I have a few Cherokees that I could part with right now, including a stock '98 4.0 5-speed. Are you only looking at stockish XJ's? I also have a '93 4.0, auto "2wd" that I'm putting 4.56 gears in the front Dana 30 right now, with 5"-6" lift, front TNT long arms, and slightly dry-rotted 35" Mud-Kings that I use as a DD.
